Yansi
The Yansi people, located about 300 miles east of the capital Kinshasa, live around the Kwilu River. Numbering around 300,000, the Yansi do not have the Bible in their tribal language. Because of war and a lack of training, the church among the Yansi is almost nonexistent. With peace, opportunities to share the Good News and train trainers abundantly present themselves. Pray for missionaries to come and embrace these opportunities.

Salampasu
The Salampasu live in villages along side many rivers located in the DRC. Their villages are one road wide and very long. Most of the villages do not have schools, clinics, or churches. Pray for the 160,000 Salampasu who live in very hard circumstances. Pray God will call missionaries to come and work with the Salampasu. Pray for someone to finish the Bible translation for the Salampasu.

Sonde
There are over 150,000 Sonde people. They live and farm in the Kasai province which is a savannah region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Although small in stature, the Sonde are very friendly and need someone to come and tell them about Jesus. The Sonde do not have the Bible in their tribal language.

Ngongo
The Ngongo people live in Kasai province and number over 150,000. Living in the forest areas of the DRC, the Ngongo carve places for existence out of the forest, which are easily seen when flying over them. Getting to the village is the greatest challenge as there are very few roads in this part of the DRC. Pray God will call His people to come to this difficult area to work with His people, the Ngongo.

Ngando
The Ngando are a large group of over 380,000 people living in the northern half of the central part of the DRC. They live in harsh areas but maintain happy faces and are fun-loving people. Because of the many rivers that cross the area where they live, it is very hard to access the Ngando people. The Ngando have the New Testament in their language but not the Old Testament. Pray God would call His people to pray and come to work with the Ngando people.
