Kalanga People of Zimbabwe and Botswana

Thank you so much for praying these past few months. God is moving in the lives of people. Many people have started copying the Bible, and as a result, Jesus is changing their lives. Marriages are being drawn together, and children are obeying their parents and being good in school. Pray in April that many more people will come to know Jesus through copying His Word.

Three new Bible studies have been started in Zimbabwe as a result of copying God’s Word. Pray for these new starts, asking that God will call out missionaries from their own countries to share the love of Christ. Satan doesn’t want people to copy, so he will cause them to be lazy or their eyes to be dim. Pray that nothing will hinder these people from knowing who the main teacher is--and that is Jesus, not the missionaries.

Join the team serving among the Kalanga people of Botswana and Zimbabwe in giving thanks to the Lord for their new team members in Francistown, International Service Corps workers Randy and Kim Windham and their daughter and son. Pray for their adjustment to living in Africa, and ask for them to find open doors for opportunities to minister. They also have two older children: a daughter and her new husband, as well as a son, living in the United States. Pray for them as they adjust to living far away from them.
