Kalanga People of Zimbabwe and Botswana

Greetings Prayer Partners

Wow!  It has been very busy these last few weeks, sorry we haven’t written in a while but your prayers for us and the work has totally been answered.  I have many praises so let us get started!

Mowana!  Oh! Praise be to the Lord.  I have asked you all for almost a year to pray for these three ladies to share their faith in the village.  Well, a volunteer gave the church a storying cloth to use for witnessing.  While we were away, they used this.  The first Sunday we were back there were 10 the next Sunday 20!  This past Friday at the Bible study there were 10.  God is moving and the cool thing about it is these people do not depend on us.

Tati Siding:  We had a great day today with the house of the Showa family filled with people.  Pray for integrity within the group.  There were some issues that needed to be discussed when it came to holiness in the lives of believers.  When you address issues that God tells you that need to be dealt with there is always going to be people who are not happy with certain things.  Pray that we as missionaries would be strong when it comes to obeying what God tells us to do even though some people might not understand why you are taking a stand.

Zimbabwe, we thought that we would be able to visit the Pastor yesterday but due to the latest news we felt it would be better to wait.  We were able to hear that some of the ones we work with are fine and they are praising the Lord in the middle of this situation.  All I know how to tell you to pray is pray that God would be glorified however he wants it to be done.

Again, thank you for praying.

In His Name,

Kelly, Ann, Kayla, Namon, & Noah Carruthers
