To be born a Koti is to be born a Muslim. The Koti live along the Indian Ocean coastline of northern Mozambique. Most make their living by fishing. Many live on a group of islands just a short distance from the coastal town of Angoche; so, the only way to reach them is by boat. Our prayer for someone to come and live and minster among the Koti has been answered. A family will be arriving later this year, stopping first in Nampula in order to do Portuguese language study. Then, next year they will be making a home near the Koti and will begin to share the message of God’s love. Pray that this family’s transition to life in northern Mozambique will go well; that they will have a positive language-learning experience; and, that they will make wise ministry choices as they begin their work among the Koti.
