Happy Holidays

            We welcome you to our end of November and beginning of December UPDATE.
We had so much to be Thankful during Thanksgiving.  I made it back home from South Africa in plenty of time to assist in cooking the holiday meal.  It was great…well…something fits here but Kevin said NOT GREAT…see he had to help me with the Turkey. I still can not left heavy things.  It was a tag team effort with me dressing up and seasoning the bird and Kevin holding it, washing it, drying…the yucky part.  Kevin and Sarah lifted heavy dishes into he oven.  This year Sarah made two AMAZING pecan pies and rolls.  We really did make memories in the Kitchen this Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for watching Rachel grow as she turned 9 on Monday. Then if that was not enough, tomorrow December 6 Miss Sarah turns 13.  We are truly blessed by our wonderful ladies.

            Please lift up Rita and Rick. She has been sick with ear trouble. We did not get to have the dinner with them.  I am trying plan something plan something for them at our house during the Christmas.  This season is so makes it great to have parties and share the wonder of why we celebrate.

            Our Hindi teacher, three adult kids, and her grandchildren will be in our home for a Christmas Eve dinner.  While we will eat chicken Tika Masala and Indian dishes, we will have traditional American Christmas goodies.  Please petition with us so this evening will not be postponed. Cover with us that I will run smoothly and that we will find some creative ways to express the S*n and His birth this night.  The son of the teacher has been spending a great deal of time with Kevin lately and has expressed he is curious about his mom’s new WAYS.  Lift that this night can be a joyful night and maybe we can wisely share something of the TRUTH as well.

Mandy….still has a load of stress and grief in her life
Sammy….very serious in his belief system yet warm and friendly to Kevin
Chris….shop owner who enjoys for Kevin to drop by for visits
            These names above need HIM and the love that comes from life in the TRUTH.

I ask for coverage concerning my medical stuff.  I go back in February for the Dr in South Africa to do an MRI of the left arm. The Dr hopes to see continued healing in my arm. He will see if further surgery is needed. Until then, I am to stay on limited activities so the arm can rest and heal.  It is trying to be slowed down and not up busy and going.  Petition with us for my arm to heal further and that no other surgeries are needed. This summer in August I will plan for my right side to be operated on.

We ask that you lift up our safety as we travel for vacation.  This is a much needed time of R/R for our family.  It will be a 30 min drive so not far but truly a very relaxing place we love.
