Pray for the Baptist church at Mlangeni (m lawn GAIN ee) Malawi and their pastor, Rev. Sakwiya (sah KWEE uh) as they work together to replace the grass thatch roof on their building with a more permanent, corrugated sheet metal, roof in hopes of keeping the rains out better this rainy season.  Heavy rains usually begin in December and last through February and into March.  Pray that the pastor and church member will use their building as a place to learn from God’s Word and be trained and equipped to spread the Good News of God’s love to the people in their village and the villages around them.

Pray for Kakhobwe (kah KOBE way) Baptist Church as they continue to serve in a strategically vital area, along the border of Malawi and Mozambique, and along a route used by many traders taking their goods to market.  Pray that they will faithfully hold the vision to proclaim the Good News in their setting, and that it can find its way to unreached villages deep inside Mozambique.
