Pray that with the 2010 World Cup, visitors to the country of SA would have an opportunity to hear the Gospel. Pray that God would use the excitement as a means for us to partner with the schools for soccer camps and Bible studies.

I stand upon the mount of God
With sunlight in my soul;
I hear the storms in vales beneath,
I hear the thunders roll.
But I am calm with thee, my God,
Beneath these glorious skies;
And to the height on which I stand,
No storms, nor clouds, can rise.
O, THIS is life! O, this is joy!
My God, to find thee so;
Thy face to see, thy voice to hear,
And all thy love to know.

With the new structuring of the IMB the ten teams of SEAC will join other cluster/sub-clusters. We want to thank each of you for support given over the years. You were important ex-officio
members of the Southeastern Africa Cluster. But, please don’t stop praying!!
A LOOK AT THE NEW STRUCTURE….
All but one of the ten teams (of SEAC) will be a part of the Sub-Sahara African Affinity Group and eight of the ten teams will be a part of the Southern Cluster. Within the Southern Cluster are two sub-clusters;

- Pray for missionaries on the Basotho Evangelism Team now working and fellowshipping with missionaries in a new cluster.

- Pray for Frank and Sheri Moran now with the IMB Deaf Affinity Group. The Morans will continue to live in Jo’burg and develop ministries to reach the Deaf in Southern Africa.
UPCOMING SPECIAL PRAYER EVENT:
Begin praying for the Urban/Town, Village and Rural Sub-Clusters’ Spiritual Retreat, September 25-28.
-Pray for Kurt and Janna Kay Holiday as they plan this big event.
-Pray for the Lord’s guidance in seeking helpers with all the planning and logistics.
-Pray for the hearts of missionaries attending to receive spiritual blessings and spiritual rewards.
We want to thank all of you that gave to the 2008 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Unfortunately due to the escalating unemployment, the impact of the credit crisis and radical decline in charitable the final report on receipts shows a total far below the goal of 170 million. Please pray for an improvement in the economic climate in America. Pray for hearts to be touched by the need to give so missionaries can be sent to the “far corners of the globe.” There still are many people groups who have never heard the gospel story.
In 2004, I became prayer advocate for the Southeastern Africa Cluster. This ministry has been an important part of my life the last five years. With the dissolution of the Southeastern Africa Cluster, there is no longer a need for a prayer advocate for this cluster, therefore my work is finished. Thank you for being an important part of this ministry with me.
How lovely is the image of a friend who thinks, loves, acts, speaks, and prays for you with a large passionate heart!! How is must please the Father above when we are faithful to pray for one another. –Elizabeth George
