The lost in Southern Sudan seem to be as numerous as the sand at the beach. The job of giving everyone the chance to hear the truth about what Jesus did on the cross for us is huge. A team will be coming in January to help join 2 containers and put a roof on top of them. This will be used to house a training center for Pastors. The only way the gospel will spread in Southern Sudan is for Nationals to realize what God has done for them and the need for them to share that great news with others! This pastors training center will be a stepping point to help these pastors know how to begin a multiplying discipleship program in their areas of ministry. Will you pray with us over this center, the team, and the pastors that will be soon going through the discipleship program there? Pray with us that this will be a starting point for a sweeping revival in Southern Sudan. Pray for all the logistics that have to come together for all of this to happen in the first part of January.
We have been very blessed with two new couples that are coming soon to work with us in Southern Sudan. We are thrilled – and also very challenged. In a country that has no available rental housing or car dealerships, few reliable builders, and spiraling hyperinflation, the challenge is sometimes staggering.
