. After years of praying for someone to come to Southern Sudan to witness to the Taposa people, Shannon and Carrie felt the Lord’s call to come. We praise the Lord for His being faithful to call them along with their three young boys. The area where they will settle is predominately occupied by mud and dung shelters. Arrangements are being made to complete a basic more permanent structure for them to live. This was underway but more regulations were passed putting a hold on any materials that were at the border to come in the country. The materials now are sitting at the Kenya-Southern Sudan border on hold. Pray that the red tape will fall away and that their home will be able to be finished very quickly allowing them to settle as a family in this place that God has called them to shine for Him.
